Live Nation really fucked it all up.
That's not really true anymore unless you're like a really well known act. It's because ticketmaster doesn't just control ticket sales, they also have exclusive deals to venues (so you can't just buy at the box office) and in some cases they even own the venues.
You think it's bad today? Just know LiveNation/TicketMaster will make it worse tomorrow
Much more needs to happen, they will find a way to squeeze out fans for even more money

Meanwhile, StubHub allows spec selling (illegal) where the seller doesn't yet have the inventory. As a buyer, you don't know and often can't know. Many cases in which the sale cannot be fulfilled and is cancelled within those 24 hours by the seller. It's outrageous!
That's how every major (pre)sales is today, queues of >100k within seconds of opening, swamped by bots/botters accounts scooping up whatever they can.. We all know who's fault this is, right?
