If anyoneβs interested, Iβve got a Bash script that migrates a site from Local to Valet β one single command.
Honestly, every time I watched your videos, I told myself I really needed to make the switch.
This had been on my todo list forever. Iβm finally migrating all my local sites to Valet β itβs amazing, so much lighter and so much more native.

Completely agree. And with all the independent communities being created, thereβs really something to build here.
By the way, BuddyPress should be more popular.
I love your video. Itβs so true, and I apply the same principle with LinkedIn β on my website firstβ¦
In the same spirit, Simon Sinek says: an influencer is a freelancer who works for the algorithms.
About fifteen years ago, I trained a travel agency. I was very surprised to see that all their research was done via the CLI. Apparently, it was the standard there (in France), and it was the fastest way to work.
Thank you very much for this article.
Iβm not sure that no-code is the right solution. A CLI interface isnβt that complicated when itβs well explained, and itβs incredibly powerful. Especially in the age of AI β Bash is very well handled by most LLMs.
I made a free full site editor block theme cheat sheet for #WordPress devs (or anyone dipping into theme development). Core blocks, theme.json reference, hooks, and troubleshooting tips I wish I'd had when I started. Grab it: elliottrichmond.co.uk/block-theme-...
On my side I use now CMB2 for metas and native blocks (static and dynamic with render.php). I really need to load all the Gutenberg setups : color, spacing, fontsβ¦
Results β¨
* leaner site, fewer plugins
* simpler editing for the team
* solid foundations for future design evolutions
π Have you already migrated projects from classic themes or builders to FSE?
My setup:
* theme.json + global styles
* native & custom Gutenberg blocks
* synced patterns + block locking
* integrated fonts & icons
* Polylang Pro for multilingual
* Faaaster hosting (secure & cached by default)
The project: IHU-CAN Foundation (PitiΓ©-SalpΓͺtriΓ¨re).
Challenges:
* too many heavy plugins
* ThemeForest overload
* WPBakery + WPML = chaos
* weak hosting & security
I replaced WPBakery with Full Site Editing.
And I didnβt use any block libraries π

I recently launched this custom FSE site built only with custom blocks.
Iβm happy with the performance, but I want to take it even further. Your course will be perfect.

Oh. Perhaps you should ask to @mikemcalister.com He use Sensei on his website.
I saw that. I'm very interested. Congratulations on this, by the way.
On my platform, I use LearnDash LMS (which I find heavy). And you?
Same. Never.
Thanks. I agree, it's a great release.
Perfect timing too β I didnβt know what to dive into this summer π
Iβve bookmarked @iansvoboda.com extension and the Remote Data Blocks project.
Hello @remkusdevries.com
I loved this episode -- I had completely missed it. I laughed a lot and learned a lot too. I'm really looking forward to Within WordPress 2 :)

What a wonderful news. Thanks a lot.
Thank you so much for this very moving episode. And new perspectives are emerging.
True. It will be great to have a relative path like files in theme.json
And when I need to update a production site from a local version, I use a script to replace the URLs. After that, it's a manual update.
Totally agree with you, and it's even worse when switching between environments if you have images in patterns and you don't want to use the patterns you've referenced in your FSE templates.
In the end, I leave the templates in the database. It's the simplest solution I've found.It
Awesome. Thanks.
