And this is the Special Jump (SJ). While walking on a moving platform, return to neutral, exactly one frame later press jump, and to continue them require frame perfect inputs. Many opportunities for these all over the run but some of them lose time to even attempt.

Here is an example of the Super Impossible Jump (SIJ). A step up in difficulty from the Impossible Jump (IJ), this is 3x frame perfect inputs as opposed to 2. We're making this less scary in actual runs by just throwing ourselves into it every single time.

The Goonies grind sesh went great today. We didn't get a PB, but the new strats are coming along nicely. We got:
2 new gold splits.
2 SIJ's (3x frame perfect jump) in 2 runs.
5 Special Jumps (frame perfect to start and continue) in one run.

Blades of Vengeance has some interesting mechanics. By making use of the blocking ability, I can effectively "herd" these monsters into a corner.
Then I turn them all into cash with a Midas ring.

The positive though, is that *every* time I've tested myself in this game with some extremely precise thing I thought I couldn't do, eventually, it came together and started to feel natural. That's my hope with this damned trick too lol
