On January 25, 1986, a winter storm kept Phil Karn KA9Q, Bdale Garbee KB0G, Mike Cheponis K6THZ, and Bob Hoffman N3CVL overnight in Harrisburg, PA after a Mid-Atlantic Packet Radio Council meeting. This sparked the ‘Snowstorm Brainstorm’ that led to forming the TCP Group and today’s 44Net Community.
