10 miniatures of cloth goblins - 9 are armed with shields, one has a sword and they all have rough wooden shields with ironwork that looks like it might have come from a door, especially the knocker shield owned by the goblin sergeant with the sword. The miniatures are metal and are standing on a slate roof tile, with sparkly orange light in the background.
The Habernagerie has many doorways but few doors.
No one knows why π€·
Cloth goblins with shields definitely not made out of doors available here π

A high contrast synth wave terminator in light blue on the left through to magenta on the right. The chest eagle and crux terminatus on the shoulder have been painted in red with yellow highlights as have the eye lenses. The base is a series of parallel stripes starting red at the front and blending to yellow at the back.
Snazzy

Taking it slow with plenty of breaks to appease the nerves, but I'm really enjoying working on this creep.
I just love pushing and pulling cloth creatures into pleasing shapes and curves.

Painted miniatures of a cloth rogue wearing a green hooded coat, purplish cloth troll warrior with a beige belly holding a big axe and a beanbag magic cat wearing a big blue floppy hat stand on a mossy tree branch, with more mossy trees in the background.
The cloth troll ventured into the woods for the first time today.
It's rather soggy, but at least the sun peeked out for a wee while π₯οΈ

A shelf with many glass domes of various sizes, with miniatures of cloth creatures and ghosts from the ranges I sculpted. Some are scruffily buffed metal miniatures and some have been painted. The domes are surrounded by fairy lights lying on the shelf. There's a soft toy Grokein the foreground and a beanbag cat beside it.
Gave the shelf of many domes a dust β¨
It's quite an awkward job.

A photo of a black silicone rubber disc mould on a green cutting map. There's a subtle marbling to the surface of the rubber.
Today's mould has a pleasing marbled finish.
Nothing exciting in there, it's just a replacement for a mould that was producing a few too many rejects.
But it is pretty.

That's my 6mm Space Hulk set! Totally impractical and would be near impossible to play with, but it's very satisfying. I need to finish painting more stealers.

First up of the next set to be cast up in glorious lead tainted metal. Space Exile Trooper. Human/cyborg/whatever anarchists with a hatred of authority and a love for chaos and ceaseless change.

A scenic item made of cork, made to look like a chunk of earth pulled from the ground, designed to lift the mini (a collection of cloth creature miniatures) higher in the glass dome they live in.
Something like the scenic muffins I made for the larger domes on my shelf of many domes.
Something tiered in a way that allows as much light to hit the minis as possible.

A photo of the top shelf of my miniatures glass cabinet. There are the shiny painted versions of my cloth creature miniatures, some old Citadel troll and a troll slayer, as one 6mm Space Hulk minis and a dolls house dresser.
It's really nice to see the shiny cloth troll warrior in my cabinet but the acrylic risers aren't bringing much to the party.
And oh god the wires π
Something scenic would be much nicer.
Figures keep shuffling towards the edge too...

Did an hour! Ooft.
Finally getting used to using my handheld button thing rather than the buttons on my drawing screen, but it feels really weird keeping my right arm by my side, rather than resting it on the screen.
It feels like riding a bike one handed.

An obnoxiously close up cropped image of a scrappy biro scribble of a sack-like cloth creature with a mouth but no eyes, holding a knife.

Right I haven't done any sculpting for days due to, I dunno, the slow collapse of my right shoulder, but I've doused myself in kwan loong and I'm gonna try an hour. With a timer β
Think I'll make a start on these creeps from my scribble book.
By telling you lot I'm committed, gotta do it.

The skreks have been waiting eeeeeeeven longer to get finished and have been trapped in their takeaway tub for almost a year.
Some dust got under the varnish when I was spraying them, then the touchups I did didn't quite match in colour. Then I got fed up.
Think I'll finish them now.

Also Etsy now lists prices including the postage cost (it's broken down in the listing itself but not on the catalogue page) even though the postage cost is per order, not per item.
So everything looks far more expensive at first glance.
Selling low value items really is getting thumped right now.

Aw great, just got an email from Royal Mail about France's 2 EUR per item line fee, starting *checks calendar* on Sunday.
For some reason I thought they'd postponed it until the EU-wide handling fee.
Not much fun running an online shop (outside the EU for some fucking reason) in 2026.

Painted miniatures of cloth creatures on my desk. There's a pink cloth troll with a beige belly holding a big axe, a blue cloth dug, a grey beanbag magic cat wearing a blue floppy hat, a cloth rogue wearing a green hooded coat and a black cloth craa holding a green lamp. Behind them are four black, red and grey cloth goblins, all with shields, three with spears and one with a sword.
The shiny cloth troll warrior is finally done! β¨
Now the cloth adventurers have a bit of muscle for when they go adventuring.
Or for when I take them on my walks in the woods.
