I went out to nature parks and and appreciated the trees, land, water, animals, and the heavens around me. I made a mental note that all these things didn't have to ask if they could stay. They just are. They have always been, and will be until the end. So are we. We could, and should just be.

One of the lessons gleaned from my time away:
My value as a human being =/= my output

I'd put a lot of value in what I can do or create and for the longest time, I've had the toxic view that if I can't create I don't deserve to exist. I'm still working on that.
