I am still shocked by all of this; he was such a great ambassador for the fandom and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Snap.

He went on to create BCFC to do what he loved, which in turn created happiness for others by bringing their characters to life. I cannot state enough how much love and joy he was able to spread to everyone he met.
He loved to give back to the community and in 2008 I went with him to Rocket City to volunteer at my first con.
From there, I would go on to volunteer or staff at several other cons including MFF, Fur-Eh, FWA, and IFC. (photo by David Ellis, RCFM 2008 variety show)
His kind demeanor, and easy going attitude made him easily approachable; being very shy and introverted, he helped me become more outgoing and find my own path in the fandom.
We would then travel to see each other on weekends, golfing, bowling, fursuiting, or hang with mutuals.
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of SnapCat @bycats4cats.bsky.social Snap was a kind, caring person with a heart of gold. He was one of the first people I met when I debuted my fursuit at MFF2006. Of course, there's the feline connection, but that quickly morphed into much more.
