when people ski sideways or UP(!!!) for sport? awful, horrible, insane behavior. if you had to do that for some reason, it would be the worst day you ever had. you'd be regaling people for years with the wretched time you had to try to go UP the mountain in skis.

the thing I would add to this with an extra year of thinking about how the labor battle will play out is: revenue sharing. I suspect we will hear much more about revenue sharing in the coming months and, if they're smart, the players will position increased revenue sharing as a counter to a hard cap
