Yeah I've started setting mine out of reach too. Crazy how much time I was spending scrolling and not reading.

Sadly I do go on TikTok and have one for my twitch channel and to interact with other fiber artists and vtubers. But I'm hoping to set more time aside for reading! It's for sure a big reason why I'm in a slump but not the only one! Still recovering from a 31/31 challenge August 2024.

Scrolling on TikTok has absolutely ruined my desire and motivation to read. Shit is going in app jail. I will beat it.

I've been trying to learn to knit!

Definitely recommend crochet or knitting! Teaches patience and it's helped with my anxiety a lot!

Yeah, I've unfortunately learned that my library is pretty small but I still love supporting them and always look there first in the off chance that they have what I'm looking for before choosing to buy it from a bookstore. I'm hoping they expand more!

Has my book slump absolutely bodied me this year? Oh yeah. But did I just buy new and pretty yarn on sale to make a big star blanket throw? Also yes. So it's a win anyway.

Yeah!! A lot of the time if the other people in my book club saying "Lili what are your thoughts?" And I'm like.. oh right I do have those lmao

I think mine is that I never rate books right away. Sometimes it takes one of my friends in my book club or my best friend asking me my rating/thoughts 😆 Like I have it in my head but I always forget to add a rating to any tracking apps.
