How could you do that to my blitz boy π±

@ovohydro.bsky.social this sign blocking my view is the absolute worst. Add a βrestricted viewβ label next time? Itβs RIGHT at center stage π
Here's a thought - instead of having your AI submit PRs against OSS, have them fork the repo, and make the changes there.
That's true open source.
If your changes are demonstrably better, others may choose your version. Or not. And that is up to them.
If AI "enhancements" to products are so good, they should be opt-in, because everyone would do it, and you could prove the market.
But they're not. They're opt-out (where there's even a choice) to inflate usage and get someone their bonus.
Now THAT'S how you do a speech.
UK would do better to suck it up and come back committed to the EU than be left stuck with shit on its nose.
π¨New prints available!!π¨
#EllenMcLain and #JohnPatrickLowrie have generously donated prints of their @valvesoftware.com characters in aid of @mndassoc.bsky.social - they can be purchased on our Tiltify (see below!)

I did not ignore it.
That voice in your head, the one that says "Yes, you SHOULD buy that new amp" - has anyone ever successfully ignored it?
F every small service that requires an email code or sms message to log in. Such a distracting workflow, and I'm raging by the time I finally get to do what I was trying to do.
Not a villa fan, but good on them.
π¨New Video Incoming!π¨
Introduced by our very own @spiral90210.bsky.social, this one means a lot to us
Can you guess what it is from just six notes?

Well that was a journey π
Tylenol will be bad for pregnant women? I bet there's a super more expensive alternative that will be 'just great', and somehow it's only the cheap medication that's a problem...
"Israel has committed genocide in Gaza, UN commission of inquiry says"
Never saw that coming.
Really could do with some 'slow' USB type C hubs. I've a 7 port 3.0 type A hub on my desk, and it was cheap (mostly for 2.0 speed peripherals). Good luck getting that with type C ports.
Not everything needs to be 40Gbps, some just need 5v 480Mbps :(
βUsers use it for X conversionsβ says to me you have tracked exactly that, as opposed to βUsers can use for X conversionsβ. I think modern marketing has made me skeptical, sorry.
Conversions == file type pairs, or one way?
Congrats on releasing something thatβs actually sold!!
Expedition 33 resetting menu positions when youβre losing the minigame is more frustrating than losing the minigame.
And yet, it reports the telemetry of the file types people are converting? Or are you just guessing at numbers? It might be a standard practice these days, but still shitty to spy.
Apple naming macOS after American landmarks puts me off. I miss the big cats.
Anyone putting shit into orbit should be paying an annual tax per piece, emissions dependent, to ESA/IAU/NASA (if it gets its teeth back) while it's still up there so there's funding to get research off planet and out of the interference it causes.
War Criminal.
"AI Features" are driving up the prices of a bunch of tools I use, and I don't want them. Of couse, there's no opt-out of these "great new features". Oh no.
OpenAI Study mode. It's going to be an amazing tool, but I think we've been here before; I've a hunch it's going to be pushed to kids/schools as hard as MS did with Word back in the day, so the new workforce will demand their tools, not others.
π€£ name me anything better or more impactful!
Half Life is the greatest FPS ever made.
I find Apple's naming of modern macOS versions a little un-relatable. California is lovely, but it's not as cool as big cats.
Iβm thinking this for the next gigβ¦
This shit is exactly why I think current AI is a privacy nightmare: arstechnica.com/tech-policy/...
If you're using AI to help yourself figure things out, and it's between you and it, it should fucking stay that way. Police communications, not 'individual tooling'.
