Can people slow down on the matcha drinking. and leave some for me.
And the lines get blurred. I'm not physically going away on holiday somewhere, or even leaving the office for much of it. But at the same time, I'm not exactly making money for every hour either.
Been freelancing for 13 years now. Don't think I've ever used up my 20 days holiday allowance in any of them.
"Liked" for the original content.
'And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead' have been going since 1998, have multiple great albums and yet, only 74k monthly listeners on Spotify.
Blaspheme!
When gen-z say "rizz" I think of this dude

This weekend I was told how my friends teenage kids tried convincing them that the building they kept going into with a neon sign of a shoe, was a shoe store in GTA 5...
Haha, yes. That's what I'm resorting to. But it's crazy that I have to, right!?
So Diablo 4 takes up 125GB of space. I have 155GB of space. I install Diablo 4, then a few weeks later it needs an update. The trouble is, the 30GB of free space isn't enough to update as it has to DL the whole game again, so to play you actually need 250GB!
Just finished watching Civil War. Loved the pacing, the tension, the build up. A stark reflection of what could happen in future America.
DAE feel as they've got older that it takes more effort to find media to consume that's enjoyable? Like, out of every 10 movies I watch, only 1-2 feel like they were worth the time. The same goes for books, games or music.
Having fun is an effort in itself!
Just finished watching 'My dinner with Andre'.
I don't recommend it π
It was very much a box ticker.
Hearing bangers come out every year like it was normal for the metal industry, when in reality, it was some of the best music the genre ever saw.
When you grow up on System of a Down, Deftones, Korn and Linkin Park etc, then 20 years later realise that it's still some of the best of the genre and young people are still listening to it.
Wouldn't have believed it back then.
Going for long runs helps me to think. Think about what biscuits I want to eat.
Nice to see our city get a mention in Doctor Who
I finished reading the first Wheel of time book on the weekend. It was mainly about a group of people travelling from one town to another and drinking in their pubs, all in the name of being "chased" by one of the Devil's henchmen.
800 pages of an elaborate ruse to go on a pub crawl.
Same. That scene where Moraine was seeing her future was pretty epic.
I don't usually care for celebrity home visits, but I was agog with Walton Goggins www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiAG...
We raised the original Β£4k target in under a week. Charities and media orgs will soon be publishing their own articles. Ride is 5 weeks away. We need a new target. Let's go big.

Never forget πΆ
Damn. Wildlife bars sure looked bourgeoisie back in the day.
When I take a day off with no plans, I'm scarily good at doing next to nothing and somehow the day still quickly passes.
It's a worrying reminder how fleeting time is. There's very little I can do to make it feel like it slows down these days.
When you see someone younger than you get called "old".
