Godot vent: WHY is changing scenes so difficult? Something so simple gave me so many errors! And the solution wasn't found in the docs or even a YouTube tutorial 😩
Solution:
1-Use LOAD instead of preload 😩
2-Don't reference a scene that references the current one

I joined forces with 2 other chao garden fans and we're making a little game in 1 month!!!! Look at the beautiful art my teammate did!
I'm the programmer, just got the enemy AI/state machines going! Using a random art asset as a placeholder for now! 😆
Update! Godot mini project is coming along nicely! But trying to not use YouTube was a fool's task.
Now that I have a good grasp on GDevelop, now I'm moving on to building the same project in Godot. WITHOUT watching YouTube tutorials. Wish me luck

Making a prototype pet game in my Starfall Garden universe using GDevelop! WHYYY is it so hard to debug? Ended up displaying my local variables to a text box. Maybe one day it'll have a print function.
