It’s so cool how we’re in a large-scale military conflict and the President is spending his time building a ballroom.
This rocks. I finally know what being a Roman must have felt like.

My favorite line I have written at Marvel.
If you can’t draw the line at genocide, then how can voters trust you to draw the line anywhere?

I became Senior VP at a multi-million dollar company at age 26. My salary was $600k. This was in 2018. How did I do it? Blacked out lines CEO (my dad) promoted me to SVP. There are no gimmicks. There are no shortcuts.
This is blackout poetry to me

A bit of a vulnerable post by me but we need your help to get us through what has been a more difficult period than 2020.

Seeking Sustainable Sponsorship
Hi Elixir friends,
After 3 years on Hologram full-time (transpiles Elixir to the browser), I'm at a crossroads.
60+ hr weeks balancing contracts & dev isn't sustainable.

New Oscars rule: every year the winners have to make a Hallmark festive movie together
Write code to make being human easier. Rip code out if it makes being human harder. Write code to make caring for each other easier. Rip it out if it makes caring for each other harder.
Empathy driven development has literally never failed me. It’s done me better than everything else combined

Okay, so I'm pretty sure I've found the best way in the world to create dynamic Open Graph images! And I've turned it into a little product that I'd love to show you 🤩

💡 I did the research so you don’t have to! This is every element in current Baseline browsers that would need a margin or padding removing in a reset stylesheet:

Why should I write better when a machine can do it for me? Because actually no one can do it for you, because your voice is unique among all the people on earth. Siri never petted a horse's neck. Alexa has never been ghosted by the captain of the football team. But you have lived, your heart is beating, you have suffered, and you have something important to say. It's a human's job, to use words, and whatever job you give to a machine, that part of your brain goes dark. Maybe it's worth it when it comes to remembering phone numbers and directions, but when that part of your brain that uses words goes dark, that's a vast area that's very close to your soul. Don't let some internet platform convince you that what you have to say and create isn't worthwhile. Words are the echo of your soul. Honing that echo matters.

Daniel Lawson @DanielLaw1998: Disabled parking should only be valid during business hours 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. I cannot see any reason why people with genuine disabilities would be out beyond these times. Jennifer Lee Rosman @JenLRossman: We’re disabled, Daniel, we’re not werewolves
7 years later and I still whisper, “We’re disabled, Daniel, not werewolves” to myself like a sacred mantra whenever I see a non-disabled person discover ableism like it’s the latest hipster indie band.
