The only thing left to take away from Denji was Pochita.

Denji got the world he wanted: a place where he could be chainsaw man forever and it destroyed the people he loved. There's no way to come back from that and while I am conflicted about Fujimoto seemingly wiping the slate clean, it's something that is prevalent in his work.

Denji on the other hand boomeranged: he lived a life of misery -> became chainsaw man -> lived an unfulfilled but happy life as Nayuta's family -> he rejects that for chainsaw man -> gets locked into a forever conflict that selfishly destroys everything.

The world in pt2 is massively fucked, the biblical apocalypse fully happened and the line between earth and hell is fully blurred, and I feel like people forget that Asa is the co-protagonist of the part and her arc is complete.

I feel like with how people are reacting to CSM pt2, it's already set to be a controversial ending but I think it makes sense for the ride to end with a big stomach turning drop. (Spoilers in replies)
