Version 7! Much better! New problem…. This pattern has the ears ladder stitched on. So either I need to edit this or get good at ladder stitching. lol yeah right! where are my scissors

Maybe? It was leftovers from the first plush I ever made, but it’s really really hard to sew with since it’s fluffy on both sides. I received advice before to only pattern with same Minky type— I just didn’t realize how significant the difference would be 😵‍💫 especially on faces.

If I was to redo him…
1. Figure out the nose situation
2. Mirror the moon (oops)
3. Re-angle the feet
4. Sew the feathers differently

What I learned
1. Luxury Minky is soooo slippery
2. Hand embroidery with gold floss is very very time consuming.

He looks a bit silly from the front but when i photoshopped a nose on he looked even sillier oh well!

The embroidery on his wings took forever! It’s actually a constellation pattern (ursa major). The wing pattern idea came when I was making the hooh dragon. It turned out pretty cool! Makes him looks angelic… or a maybe a sailor moon aesthetic lol

Here he is! Dec 1-March 1, the teddy bear dragon is done! He is some weird amalgamation of teddiursa ursaring and Dragonite. I love him so much
