I live next door to a stadium. Sometimes I just sit outside with the radio on and listen to the crowd across the street. Baseball is a great sport for radio. I grew up following it that way.

Yeah I Know. Trying to decide if I want to sign up to see it. My number one fave sport is cycling and I pay a lot for that. Maybe will take a free trial but I am really not wanting to do that.

Are the games on Fox? Which ones? I don’t want to watch the US.

OTOH we helped one of the kids with a costly car repair far exceeding our total transportation costs because they chose to live where there is no transit.

Great story! Going to save it. We did what you did. Started with 3 cars to 2 cars to one car to no car now. I estimated our transportation costs for financial planner to be less than $1000 a year even with renting cars several times a year.

It may not seem like a big deal to move a bus stop from 2 min walk away to 15 min walk, but that adds almost 1/2 an hour more to a trip to stupid Walmart.
(I figure if everyone is still whining about parking I would do my part for transit users)

Since I walk with my much slower husband I go into the crosswalk and hold my hand out flat like I am a traffic cop and wait for husband to finish crossing. Was thinking of making one of those little crossing guard stop signs.

Spouse took his worn out hat from the Chicago museum of science and industry over to image On T-shirt printing and embroidery at 10th and Market. They reproduced it on a new hat on the spot and total cost was $20 which included the price of the plain hat. He is now a happy guy. #SanDiego

Routes that don’t run near us anymore: 11 when they split off 12 but now 12 moved to 12th and Imperial, 929, 992. Nobody wants us to drive then they take away the convenient busses.

Bus 120 route is only every 30 min now? I hate finding these things out on the day I need to ride. I do not know how I missed reading about all these route changes. #sdmts
