No. 5 Alabama cruised to an 88-68 win over South Carolina, led by Mark Sears’ 22 points. Jacobi Wright led the Gamecocks with 20, but they hit just 3-of-14 from deep. Alabama made 8-of-19 from beyond the arc and shot 55% overall. “Bring your best every night,” Sears said.

Irmo’s 40-year football state title bid ended in a 34-31 loss to Northwestern in the 5A Division II title game. Matthew Fish’s 27-yard field goal sealed the victory. A.J. Brand led Irmo with 319 yards and 4 TDs, while Donovan Murph caught 2 TDs, including the game-tying score.
Quarterback Aiden Manavian guided Oceanside Collegiate Academy to a 35-17 win over Belton-Honea Path, claiming the Class AAA state championship at Oliver Dawson Stadium in Orangeburg. The victory secured the Landsharks’ second straight title after winning the Class AA championship last year.
In a 4A title rematch, Westside fell 42-41 to South Florence after a failed 2pt. attempt with under two minutes left. Cutter Woods threw 6 TDs, including a 50 yarder to Chamarryus Bomar late, but the Bruins held on, ending the Rams’ hopes for back-to-back titles and their 29-game winning streak.
The Silver Foxes secured their 3rd consecutive 5A state title and 8th in 9 years with a 35-21 victory over Summerville. QB Ethan Offing threw for 252 yards and 2 TDs, while WR Boykin Bickley had 7 catches for 149 yards and 2 scores. Head coach Tom Knotts, now with 16 career championships.
