I am struggling with what might be a generational experience. The gulf war was pretty politically formative for me. It’s not history so much as memory this time.
It is destabilizing to see almost the exact same gameplan but this time without the guardrails that at the time I took for granted.
Republicans don’t view any action at all as good or bad. There is only “who is doing it?”
If it’s Trump it is good even if they hated it yesterday. And if it’s a Democrat it’s bad even if they loved it yesterday.

CBS paid the president of the United States millions in bribe money and now they censor news reports so it does not annoy him. I don’t know how much plainer we can put this.
I am in this boat to an extent (no toxic meds yet but trying to avoid getting there) and trying to give up the alcohol. But man is it tough.
