It won't help. American citizens need to get involved in the political process. It's the only way. Just ask Ukrainians.

While Russia strikes Ukraine with drones and missiles, the Paralympics seem more focused on silencing Ukrainian voices than upholding its values, favoring Russia and Belarus.

It seems enforcement is hard.
My piece on the increasing frequency of Russian soldiers surrendering to Ukrainian drones and ground robots.

Absolutely!
Disgusting.
You should make Trump give you your plane back.
You're very welcome.๐
As a non-American, this makes sense to me. But it's sad.

It is the duty of constituents who disagree with their elected representative to express their displeasure and remind their elected officials that their job is to serve them, their constituents, and not a foreign power. This is the duty of ALL constituents, regardless of which party they support.

No, it's Iran.
Yes but my point is that he is not the first useful idiot, but rather the latest in a string of them going back a century.
Just another illustration of the state of western civil society, which mindlessly and eagerly consumes the vile cultural products (from fashion to movies and music) of these evil creatures. And then complains when the fallout begins.
Good. Let's speed up that loss.
How can we ramp it up?
As reprehensible as he is, and deserving of ever criticism, the time has come for all Americans to look in the mirror and figure out their role in his rise to power. Because he is just a reflection of the civil society over which he rules. He is not a leader in US realpolitik, he is the beneficiary.
Ukrainian events like this are outstanding. I attended a conference in Ukraine back in 2015 on propaganda and genocide. I learned so much and looking back I know I only skimmed the surface of what was presented. Still, I came away with a treasure trove of new knowledge and, hopefully, wisdom.
Yes!

Too simplistic. Mass protests won't force US politicians to do the right thing. There are drones now for crowd control. A protest should be the last resort, a reflection of the strength of the underlying civil society. Americans can learn much from Ukraine about how to hold politicians accountable.
Will this debacle finally motivate the fool to beg Zelenskyy to save his sorry ass? You'd think so, but his arrogance and stupidity seem infinite.
But in his arrogance & stupidity, Trump threw Zelenskyy out again & instead rolled out the red carpet for putler. What an ass, but tbh he just demonstrated a century of US foreign policy aka realpolitik. Americans must now take the advice of Sternenkoโchange or perish. US citizens, time to speak up!
