Same. And I feel lucky to have been part of that, and to have seen so much of the world that way.
Ha ha yes, indeed! π Congrats to your wife on her retirement- ICU, well deserved, I'm sure!
I'm in IPAC now. Did stroke rehab, Occupational health, and was a medical case manager for injured workers in California's central valley. Lovely people; what's happening to them now breaks my heart.
That would be amazing! I hope it works out.

Right?! Such fun. Back when flying was a bit of an adventure for passengers and for crew. And boy, do I have stories!
Me too! So beautiful. I'm still near YYZ but no longer flying. My career is nursing; flying was my fun side job for 17 years. You can do both in your 20s and 30s, not so much as one gets older!
Yes, Canadian Airlines International bought CP and later, Wardair (1990ish). Eventually, CAIL was bought by Air Canada in the 2000s.
Yes, PIK, DUB, FRA, ORLY, and sun destinations. I was hired after Wardair bought a ton of A310s which ended up doing most of our European routes. Loved that aircraft. My favourite route was the "dayliner" flight from YYZ-LGW.
I'm getting nostalgic π
Yes, it was 747 from YYZ, where I was based. Although Wardair may have used the DC-10 to HNL before I started flying. So many fun stories! Drunk passengers, Royal Doulton china. I should write a book or screen play π
Indeed. And I remember World Airways. Did you ever fly on WardAir? It was a fabulous experience.
That quilt lasted too many Scaramuccis.
Staggering, and yet completely expected.
This is like announcing your girlfriend is unexpectedly pregnant. When asked if you planned ahead and used protection, you answer "we're looking into that now"
And the Obama administration deported ppl- meaning returned them to their home country- not disappeared ppl to torture chambers in foreign countries like El Salvador.
wow -- Tillis goes ballistic on Noem, telling her "what we've seen is a disaster under your leadership"
Yep. I wish they had asked the Bride of Chucky: And who committs an act of domestic terrorISM if not a domestic terrorIST?
Bride of Chucky will never retract her statements.
Oh that botoxed Chucky's bride knows.
A few reasons:
ICE goons get paid even if ppl are released later.
The regime can boast that they arrested a large # of "illegals"
Private, for-profit prisons π°π°π°
Nobody in π Frumpy's evil regime has a conscience or a soul.
Texans who want to help have a simple way to do so: offer to drive these folks home. Make as few or as many trips as your time, gasoline budget, and conscience allow.
