I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

So our basement flooded w hazardous, sewage that destroyed nearly all our belongings in that room + basement. Our insurance does not cover what was lost. We had to evacuate w/ our animals bc it’s confirmed biohazard by a remediation company “category 3”

It seems like the desktop version is having some issues I guess. At least that hopefully means that I won't have to reupload old art again.
