I wonder if that scene is meant to be in Italy. The boat, the boatman's stance, their hats, the columns, it looks like an Italian scene to me.

I can't eat pizza, as I am lactose intolerant. All that cheese will make me very ill. You should think about these things before you publish letters like this.
Okay, this has annoyed my memory too. The Telegraph ran a story in 2024 about an EV bin lorry that caught fire
"Electric bin lorry bursts into flames in central London" except that it was something in the rubbish that caught fire, not the lorry.
Lying bastards.

NEW ANALYSIS: UK emissions fell 2.4% in 2025 as coal fell to a 400-year low. Incredibly, we used less coal last year than than in 1600, when Queen Elizabeth I was on the throne and Shakespeare was writing Hamlet.

I wonder how much effort The Telegraph has devoted to reporting on the Barclay Brothers (as was):

My guess is less than this article.

This is genuinely pathetic by Telegraph - and really exposes their rabid obsession with net-zero.
When you read this article, this is the only passing reference to net-zero:
"a trustee of the Climate Group, a charity that aims for a net-zero world by 2050, from 2010 until 2016"

March 6, 1926: The Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon is destroyed by fire. What could have been an incalculable cultural loss is staved off by heroic citizens who rush into the burning building to save its greatest treasures. 1/3
This means he's taking the US out of NATO.
And the trees at the back are reaching peak.
All the front trees are in full bloom.
Sunny days. Rain is coming but the blossom should be fine.
In other news, the Vril of Bovril is a Victorian sci-fi elixir:

Evidently not a super-injunction, as you are making the agreement known by publishing this statement. So it must be an NDA, meaning we can speculate about what the chocolate did to you, and how you have been paid off to warrant you signing this agreement.
I'm not sure about dream, but I do recognise the Cameron/Arnie remake True Lies as canon James Bond. The very opening, swim underwater, plant a bomb, reveal dinner suit, spy spy spy, explosion, ski chase shooting villains, all pure Bond. Cameron pitched to direct Bond but Eon turned him down.

Today I learnt there is a thing called shitajiki, which is a pencil board. A sheet of hard material that you slip under paper to give a better writing surface. Usually plastic, they are collectable with prints of anime characters and suchlike.
So many things in the world.
Fortunately, we already have a FREE FLOW of ENERGY to the WORLD. The Sun shines every day, the wind blows every day, the rivers flow to the sea every day, the Earth's core releases every day, the tides ebb and flow every day. Lots of free energy we can tap and store.

Portrait. Landscape.
Beauty.
It was sunny when I went out but I didn't stop. Now the clouds have rolled in.
I never knew this shrub could fruit!! 20+ years and I have never noticed these before. It is just an um oleaster I think. It was variegated but that grew out years back. How surprising.
Everything is edible once, right?
Get in the booth, Shinji!
