I did see Jesse Jackson live once. The Tom Joyner Morning Show was broadcasting live from The Tower Theater in West Philly and my old man let me tag along while he ran logistics. Tom announced he has a surprise guest and out walks Jesse. Building goes berzerk. Did all the old chants. I am. Somebody.

One of my most sobering memories of Jesse Jackson was going to my civil rights veteran uncle's funeral, looking to my right and seeing Jesse Jackson sitting next to me, damn near inconsolable and in tears.

That was a somewhat silly idea for a panel, teaming up experienced artists with newbies and having them compete to draw ponies.
Due to a scheduling mistake I had to improvise and bring audience members to participate, and turns out they loved it.
