I knew a friend that is obsessed over VIII and I just can't get behind the story, characters, or combat. IX though...is a masterpiece. The characters individual stories, the lessons they brought and shared, the mechanics, the world, all of it was amazing and honestly deserves a remake or remaster!

So Rift of the Necrodancer recently came out and honestly it's been a nice change lately. Rhythm games are some of my favorite games and while Crypt of the Necrodancer was fun back in the day it never hooked me, aside from the music. This game though fulfills an itch I've been wanting to scratch! 😃
