I’ve written a blog about using UI5 libraries on SAP BTP. While this topic comes up often, deploying libraries separately can make the consuming app’s mta.yaml quite complex, so I explored bundling the library into the app instead.

Use a managed RAP BO instead of the CBO you mean? I see what you mean. I still think that there should be an CRUD API for CBOs though, hence the improvement req. Many customers make use of CBOs, esp from their 2-tier days. Thx @richheilman.bsky.social hope things are going well down in #Melbourne

How? Class cl_cbo_developer_access has a read only method data_retrieval but no write method
