Tonight, the BCPVPA and our members are holding the people of Tumbler Ridge in our thoughts and our hearts in the wake of the tragic acts of violence that shattered that community. We are thinking of those who have been lost, and offer our support to all who have been affected.

We welcome Jennifer McCrea and Dani Carter-Sullivan from MoECC to Chapter Council for a morning working session on the resources for promotion and prevention of, and response to, violence and trauma in schools, and how leaders can ground themselves in the work with care.

Closing out Day 1 of Compass, members learned about inclusion and equity in decision-making - the common threads as well as diverse contexts across schools. Conversations on the importance of spreading common values at schools, challenging elements of needs-based resourcing

The first BCPVPA Compass Leadership Academy is now underway! We are together in Vancouver with more than 200 new-to-role members from across BC, & 30 members dedicating their time as table facilitators. This weekend's learning is foundational for new leaders - stay tuned! #edusky
