I've been looking forward to this book for something like 20 years - I'm trying to remember when I first heard Aymeric mention it - must have been in his "What's Rattlin'" Weekly Digest that I subscribed to in the 1990s.

Me 😀. I have that LP. And I remember them playing on the radio in the mid 1970s - probably "In Concert", or was it "Top Gear"? I have this memory of them playing "Rangoon Creeper", but it was 50+ years ago, so I might be mistaken 🤔.
I think I might have "Golden Section" too.

Same here Andy! With Return To Forever just after Romantic Warrior was released. I think it was 1976. Been a big fan of Stanley Clarke since that day 😀.

I remember seeing this house in a documentary about Ravel on TV several years ago. One of my favourite composers.

This beautiful LP is the one that, for me, goes with this book. Of course there are other records that also go with it - and I have those too 😀.

I first read this novel about 25 years ago, and I am reading it again. Set in the early to mid 1970s - my own introverted teenage years - when I started to explore music. It struck a chord (an augmented seventh 😉).

I have the perfect LP to go with it. And it's NOT the one you think! (Photo later).

You did well to wait - the Redux box was much cheaper than the three boxes. I think I paid about £50 for each box when the first came out. Still worth it though 😀.

I also have the earlier box set - the one that's split across three boxes. It's the same CDs in both - I just got a bit carried away 🤪.
