I *LOVE* this movie!
I normally am not a fan of Westerns, But Hondo (1953) did do a good job deviating away from Native American stereotypes prevalent during time and actually strived to make an honest western film.

Harrison Ford and Melanie Griffith in Working Girl (1988) go so well together, like peanut butter and jelly.

I am ALWAYS posting on my letterboxd. I sprinkle my stuff on bluesky over time.
I seriously need to watch 45 Years again. I donβt think I gave it the attention it deserved when I last saw it.
Happy Birthday to Charlotte Rampling, who I loved in the film Farewell, My Lovely (1975).

The Mating Season (1951) is my favorite of Thelma Ritterβs performances. Itβs the closest she got to be a film leading lady and she OWNS in this movie.

Gurl youβre joking, right?! Thelma Ritter is my 1950s QUEEN!
A Room at the Top (1959) is a somewhat dry film, but its messaging is quite progressive and its acting is incredible. Shoutout to Simone Signoret for her Oscar win and Hermoine Baddeley for her 2 minute Oscar nominated performance!
