I think Epic wanted something in between BP and C++. Easy enough to learn for new users but fast enough to scale in large real-time environments. Built for a modern use case.

Cool idea!
Hello Kyle! 👋
That would be truly awesome, thank you!
Hi @samuelbass.bsky.social! I have a question about UE+UEFN. Hope that is ok. Would it be possible to make an animation with Unreal Motion Design in UE with effectors and then import it into UEFN?
We made a new highlight reel at @tomlinstudio.bsky.social with what we can show from our UEFN / Fortnite projects so far. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWAR...
True! Yes, I will definitely try your game! 😊
I'm definately not a sweat in Fortnite Battle Royale, but this is my year in BR. #wrapped
Looks fun! I have been thinking about doing something with the ball vehicle but never came around to it.
How does the limited time deal work, can you only access the content during that time period? Or is it a limited time to register and you can access the contant after the time period as well?
Syncing Patchwork to different groups of objects in the scene by tags. Each tag creates a group of abstracted sync objects that do whatever they are supposed to when the "virtual sequencer" in Verse tells them to trigger. Sound need to be on to make sense.
Cool!
Thanks! I tried it with a Sequencer with a note on every step > Note Trigger > Trigger but there is latency. So I’ll try another way with just one starting trigger signal each beat and the some math to calculate the time stamp for each step instead to compare.
Are there any UEFN people in Europe here on BlueSky?
Sounds awesome!
Well said!
Noooo… 😢
Hello @bsky.app! This app has a lot of potential, but 2 things I am missing from other platforms are 1. bookmarks and 2. DMs. Is this by choice or will those features be added in the future?
… and then I trigger the devices that I want in Verse instead, divided in different groups of devices. This way I can calibrate when to trigger different groups by just changing the code = faster iteration cycles + easier when it’s a lot of devices to trigger.
So I have been experimenting with using Patchwork as a base to trigger different devices in a scene. It can be done with hooking up Sequencer>Note Triggers>Triggers and then subscribing to the Triggers in Verse. But it’s kinda manual. So I am using a sequencer that triggers on every step in Verse…
A little jam in JAM HOUSE (www.fortnite.com/@tomlinstudi...) from the other week. Anybody else enjoying playing around creating music with Patchwork devices in Fortnite? www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IFQ...
Nice! Are you using Patchwork or audio players?
Looks really cool!
That's a great idea! Me and @lindapierre.bsky.social would be all over that challenge! Right up our ally with merging music and Fortnite!
I started this day 100% sure I would solve this music-syncing thing in Verse today but the hours are running away from me and right now I am in this slope of self doubt... Really hope I can sort this thing out!
@galaxiesshow.bsky.social Hi! Will you also highlight UGC games?
I will soon thank you! And likewise!
My first wobbly steps on Bluesky according to @skircle.bsky.social
Then I’m in! 😊
I can play test for others if they also can play test for me 😊
