Haha. Do you know what percentage Irish you are?
Every St Patrick's Day I think about how my whole life I was told that I'm 50% Italian, 50% Irish, but never felt Irish. Then DNA results started explaining a few things . . . (on the nasture side, at least. Nurture is a whole other force)
Everyone's in a ditch in my first-case scenario playbook. But no: they're not.

Omg, that's perfect! In our house, the orange Maine coon is the is goofy one who's halfway on the couch, or between the cushions, or something other doofy thing.
You're my people.
What prize?
What's the pitch? (You can DM or text or email it to me if you want)
Writers: is your website written in first person, or third person? Right now mine goes back-and-forth, but I figure it should be consistent. Can't decide which one is better, both have pros and cons.

There's too much in this world that tries to diminish our value, our strength, our goodness. Someone subtweeting or vague booking or whatever doesn't deserve space in your head and your heart.
I have to remind myself of this often and it may be helpful to someone else: If you follow someone on socials whose posts make you doubt your goodness, or make you anxious, or make you sad, you can unfollow them. If community relationships make that awkward, it's ok to mute them.
I'm a good hugger!
But man, am I tired.
I've been trying to respond to this, and the only things I have to say are agree with you about how horrible everything is, instead of helping you feel better
Doesn't What's App allow that?
Please don't die anytime soon.
I so agree! I want both--reading and conversation. It's a rare audience member who can sustain interest in a reading for much longer than 10 minutes (what do the studies say, you lose most people after 12?). I like to do a video or PowerPoint that relates t the text too.
โHow can you talk about books at a time like this?โ
โBecause if I donโt talk about books, Iโm gonna talk about murder and Iโd rather rather go on book tour than go to prison. Also, fascists hate books, especially those written by people like me. So books, motherfucker. ALL THE BOOKS.โ

I LOVE THIS! ๐ณ๏ธโ๐๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ
You're right, it is what media was like (I say as rack my brain for examples that aren't any of the things you mentioned). I guess that's a good conversation to have--hey, look what was considered ok back then. The 80s were even worse. ๐ณ
There's one scene in particular with Jordan . . . I think you'll know it when you see it. But I still adore this show to no end, and will never get over its premature cancellation.
The cishet dudes on that show do NOT hold up.
(I was interviewed about it for a textbook, of all things)

Love her.
I just looked at FB for the first time in ages, and it sent me into an anxiety/shame spiral, sure that everyone who was vaguebooking was talking about me. So, that was a good lesson.
I'm exhausted and can't ever seem to recover. I'm out of two regular supplements, so that's part of it. I keep wondering what's wrong with me, and then remember that this is what happens when you have chronic fatigue syndrome. This is "normal." #CFS #ME #chronicfatigue #invisibledisability
A friend was just telling me that he sends notes of thanks to people for doing things like speaking up in a meeting about something important, or sharing something vulnerable about themselves on social media that helps further the conversation, and I thought, There, the little acts of humanity.
I suggest Gigi Little. She designs all the covers for Forest Avenue Press, and also does freelance. And she's designed cover for ND authors.

Is he specifically looking for a ND cover artist?
