All completely fair. Just thinking it would have been fun to see how high the bidding might have gone.

That’s that… (GoodFellas voice)
I don’t want to lean too much into that. At the same time, if they go hard in the tackle market this offseason, then yeah, I’d say it’s a possibility.
There were some WILD guys on the roster in the 2010-13 era. Austin Collie! Shaun Ellis! Ochocinco!
He technically returned to the Patriots in 2013.
Bradbury might land in the top 10-15 on this list, TBH. Had a heck of a year.
Got some good suggestions (in no particular order):
Chris Long
Brandon Browner
Darrelle Revis
Mark Anderson
Ted Washington
Stefon Diggs
Brandon Lloyd
Brian Waters
Excellent point. Not so far.
With his departure, Stefon Diggs joins an impressive list of one-and-done guys in Patriots’ history. I asked Hogan for his favorite one-and-done teammates, and he had an interesting pair — Kyle Orton (Buffalo) and Chris Long (New England).

Also puts them squarely in play for a left guard possibility either in free agency or the draft. Love the idea of swooping in and grabbing David Edwards from Buffalo.
Dude was rock solid. Did everything the team asked of him and more. Smart, tough player. As others have noted, this likely clears the way for Jared Wilson to take over at center.
Source confirms the Patriots trade of Garrett Bradbury to Chicago.
Flipping to defense, we start with the DTs.
The Patriots couldn’t have asked for more out of Milton Williams. Now they must continue to fill in the defensive interior around him.
I continue to pound the table for Texas Tech linebacker Jacob Rodriguez as a second-round fit for New England.

Spent some quality time this afternoon talking Patriots and the post-Diggs landscape (as well as some good draft talk) with the crew from NESN’s “Boston Has Entered The Chat.”

A few final thoughts on Stefon Diggs and the Patriots.

Hogan says he needs to see if Alec Pierce is capable of expanding his route tree before he offers him $30 million a year.
“I’m not paying $30 million for someone to run go routes.”

Excellent new episode of “The Patriots Report” is LIVE: Hogan and I talk about what New England will look like post-Diggs, free agency, the draft, and much more.

The Patriots have signed linebacker Jesse Luketa.
Luketa, 27, was originally drafted by Arizona in the seventh-round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Penn State. The 6-foot-3, 260-pounder began his rookie season in 2022, and has played in 31 games with 31 total tackles, 3 sacks and 1 forced fumble.
Cross him off your list, New England.
We finish off the offensive side of the ball with the wide receivers:
Decision to release Stefon Diggs will determine how the Patriots evaluate the wide receiver position this offseason
Khyiris Tonga was the only member of the Patriots to play at least 10 snaps in all three phases over the course of the 2025 season.

His locker still stands. (Real ones know.)
Mark Anderson! Great call.
Cordarrelle Patterson might be in my personal top 5. Once asked him how he got better as a running back from one week (where he had something like 23 yards) to the next (where he had 75 or so). He thought a second before answering.
"Yards. Probably getting more yards."
