I hate that we are living in times where it feels the only thing we can do is triage those affected. Where charity is the only weapon against the worst people in the world. But if you can fix something for someone today, please do it. A lot of folks are asking for help, maybe throw them some.

imo the threat posed by CBS News and CNN getting absorbed by pro-regime billionaires isn't that they're going to produce right-wing slop that convinces people to be right-wing, it's the dismantling of newsrooms capable of doing investigative reporting on the administration. Fewer eyes on the street.

The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

The newest video shows very clearly that they attacked him for coming to an aid of a woman that the agents pushed, and then executed him while he was immobilized. Everything the government has said, like with Good, has been a complete lie.

I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Still have no Verizon cell service after 5 hours here in Queens, with very little information coming from Verizon as to what is happening and if/when it'll be fixed. Thankfully able to connect to WhatsApp and internet via wifi, but good luck if you're out and about or only have a cell phone.

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

After the assassination of Melissa Hortman it’s not hard to understand why a woman in Minnesota would be afraid of a man in a mask who says he’s a cop.

Schumer is in his leadership position because Democrats wanted someone who would ask nothing of them, require nothing of them, never put them in an uncomfortable situation. It’s like the army voting for a general who will never order an attack - good them, maybe, but defeats their whole purpose.

I'd like Chris Murphy, or basically anyone at this point to hold a vote of no confidence in Schumer's or Jeffries tepid leadership, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Between Schumer and Jeffries, there is no actual leadership amongst the Democrats. They're too busy being worried about their next donor dinner to bother offering anything other then a empowering whimpering complaint at current events.
