The Feds Targeted Charlotte. Now a Local Democrat Who Helped ICE Faces Voters. - Bolts North Carolina lawmaker Carla Cunningham voted to mandate compliance with ICE, and derided immigrants on the House floor. The Democrat faces an intense March primary.

JUST IN: North Carolina's Dem lawmaker Carla Cunningham gave the GOP the decisive vote to pass a law forcing police to comply with ICE. She said "all cultures are not equal."

She just lost reelection BIG in the Dem primary to a progressive pastor & activist, Rodney Sadler. 70% to 22%!

We can’t clean up Washington without restoring integrity to the Supreme Court.

That’s why I believe we should expand the Supreme Court to 13 justices. And then, institute term limits.

Because an appointment to the Supreme Court shouldn’t mean a lifetime lack of accountability.

If we’re going to fight Trump 2.0, Congress needs to change. Multimillionaire moderates and high-dollar fundraisers aren’t going to cut it. I’m ready to fight, not fold.

If you’re with us, can you spare any change to help us make some change of our own?

We both love this city. We’re lifelong progressives. We’ve never sold out to lobbyists or special interests. That hasn’t changed with Zohran in City Hall and it won’t change when I’m in Washington.

Because it’s not just enough to elect Democrats. We need better Democrats.

Donald Trump illegally stole your money.

He should give it back to you.

Instead Trump is scheming up new ways to force Americans to pay even more.

New York Appellate Court Allows Redraw of Congressional Map to Move Forward But there’s still one wildcard that could affect the map used in the 2026 midterm elections: the U.S. Supreme Court.

🚨BREAKING: A New York Appellate Court has ruled that the state’s independent redistricting commission must draw up a new congressional map, after a court struck down* the state’s current 11th Congressional District for diluting the voting power of Black and Latino residents.

This is yet another example of a private institution capitulating to the federal government’s assault on transgender rights. In the face of these attacks, New York City will continue to be a refuge for the LGBTQIA+ community.

UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA
MARK KELLY,
Plaintiff,
Civil Case No. 26-81 (RJL)
V.
PETE HEGSETH, et al.,
Defendants.
MEMORANDUM OPINION
February 12, 2026 [Dkt. #2]
United States Senator Mark Kelly, a retired naval officer, has been censured by
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth for voicing certain opinions on military actions and
policy. In addition, he has been subjected to proceedings to possibly reduce his retirement
rank and pay and threatened with criminal prosecution if he continues to speak out on these
issues.
Secretary Hegseth relies on the well-established doctrine that military
servicemembers enjoy less vigorous First Amendment protections given the fundamental
obligation for obedience and discipline in the armed forces. Unfortunately for Secretary
Hegseth, no court has ever extended those principles to retired servicemembers, much less a retired servicemember serving in Congress and exercising oversight responsibility over
the military. This Court will not be the first to do so!

Worse still, Secretary Hegseth contends that this Court is not yet competent to
decide the issues in this case. He and his fellow Defendants argue that military personnel

decisions are exempt from judicial review and, in any event, that Senator Kelly should first
be required to go through the military appeals process so the military can have the first
crack at adjudicating his First Amendment rights. I disagree. This Court has all it needs
to conclude that Defendants have trampled on Senator Kelly's First Amendment freedoms
and threatened the constitutional liberties of millions of military retirees. After all, as Bob Dylan famously said, "You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows." To say the least, our retired veterans deserve more respect from their Government, and our
Constitution demands they receive it!
Senator Kelly's First Amendment claim is not only justiciable; he is likely to
succeed on the merits. He has also shown irreparable harm, and the balance of the equities
fall decidedly in his favor. As such, his motion for a preliminary injunction on his First
Amendment claim is hereby GRANTED.

Kid Rock's dad owned multiple car dealerships and he grew up in the suburbs of Detroit. Bad Bunny went from bagging groceries and recording his songs in his room to winning multiple Grammys. Which one is the better encapsulation of hard work and the American Dream?

It's really funny that The All-American Halftime Show was announced months ago when elites were banking on a real right wing sea change, only now moms are hurling abuse at ICE, and folks are brushing up their duolingo so they can sing along with whatever Bad Bunny performs on the real halftime show.
