An acrylic painting of matte black profile with leaves behind and leaves & there red flowers in front. The plants are very stylized and overlapping on top of each other in several hues of green. Some layers of paint are scratched away to create the forms and veins of the leaves & flowers

Many layers of acrylic paint applied to a canvas with a palette knife. Dominant colours are pinks greens and grays.
Day 18 of #ArtAdventCalendar is another one I'm not sure wholly counts as art, but I've been putting all my leftover paint on this canvas for a couple years. I think it's done and I'm starting a new one in the new year
An embroidered mermaid, mostly in black thread. Her hair is filled in with orange, red & purple thread. The mermaid is stretching in a circle shape with her tail fins almost touching her head. The stitching has lots of little mistakes and you can still see some of the mostly erased pencil under-drawing

What's with the roses? I've been enjoying painting different things in the dark part of the moon and I saw some wild roses on a pleasant day out
