Yes I did! The sound was definitely pretty murky, but I assumed it was an intentional decision. Seems like Alvarez was taking a page out Nolan's book by experimenting with sound, who tends to blend in the dialogue with the environment. I didn't have any issue with that but I can see why some would.

Whether Didi (εΌεΌ) does enough to stand out amongst other coming-of-age stories is up for debate, but as an Asian-American I feel like this is our Lady Bird. Sean Wang does such a good job at capturing the essence of the 2000s so well that I almost feel like it's me in some of these scenes.
