A screenshot of a room in GameMaker editor. There's a bit of everything here - backgrounds, tiles, sprites, object instances, and even a path.
The same room, but the program has extended it 10px to the left, 20px to the right, 30px upwards, and 40px downwards. The contents have been offset accordingly.
I released a new #GameMaker tool! This one lets you resize rooms in all directions (and not just towards bottom/right like the built-in room editor currently does)
