We knew what we wanted for our kids & made it happen. Just as we were making decent progress, things started going to shit again. It's like we built a beautiful sand 🏰 on the beach then some MAGA fuck came along, kicked it down then shit all over it. So we have to start all over again. Gen-X is mad.
Are you talking to me? I was just stating what I had as a kid. I wish I'd had the playgrounds of today. After hurting myself too many times I ended up reading during recess and playing on the farm I grew up on instead.

I'm an older Gen-X and that is a soft playground compared to what I had growing up in the 70s. Everything was steel, wood with splinters, concrete ground, hot metal slides, and a tetherball that could knock you unconscious.
