If it turns Sonic into an egg, then Dr Eggman is surely a whole damn omelette?
I second this, those technical posts are always a highlight! I do also hold you responsible for a growing urge to try VR dev after putting it off for years @majormcdoom.bsky.social
If you want to playtest Reconfigure with a Steam Deck, there's a community controller layout that you can use to get the inputs working. Thanks @nearlytobias.bsky.social !
Official support for controllers and Deck will be added later during development

Ive been using it for 18 years and couldn't go without max4live sadly. It's a drag, particularly as Push 3 h/w runs Linux! I wouldn't mess with wine for a DAW, but I've seen reports of near native performance w/ a QEMU vm + looking glass. If not, dual boot, then slow transition to BitWig perhaps...
Even with those tweaks the performance still isn't great on deck, but certainly playable for some laid back play testing on the sofa. And I of course appreciate that I'm choosing to play it this way before it's been optimised for it. I'll make sure to dip in on my proper PC too when I get some time!
Their website and app UX is laughably shite across the board. I recently tried their Android app out of curiosity and there is no sensible way to filter or locate stuff you own. Their recommendation? Just poke around the app until you chance up on it again www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/e...
Fitting that it looks like it could be a screenshot of a roguelike mid-map generation
yes! I think it either suits your brain, or it doesn't at all. Ive dabbled with the noodles a few times and always go running back to the cold, rigid embrace of bare txt. Props to all the highly skilled spaghetti wranglers though, lots of cool shit gets built that way.
Nice. I'm on the cusp of returning to Linux and those are my top options. Like you, there's only one thing keeping me tethered to Windows, which is Ableton Live. Might have to see if I can get it running in a VM with an acceptable level of latency. It feels like Win11 is getting worse by the day.
I believe this is what they call a MatCap
I was in the backing choir for S Club 7's UK number one charity single 'Have You Ever' (2001)
Fortunately I love Parliament / Funkadelic, so I already have cognitive buckets for 'good' v 'bad' slop. I agree it's doing the cream of the co-op game crop a big disservice though. Has anyone dared use that term for Big Walk? That's how we'll know it's gone too far! www.discogs.com/master/16082...
This is also what programming a Yamaha DX7 sounds like
If I could pick only one quote to explain this score, it would have to be this:
"Some stay dry and others feel the pain" - Tay Zonday
Also: more HUD = more SciFi
Just gave it a spin on Steam Deck and I really like it! I had to turn down / off all the GFX settings (except the dithering) but it still looks excellent. I did a quick rebinding for steam deck, which Ive shared on steam as a community controller layout, so hopefully others can make use of it.
It's the box art from hit game Glover from the Super Nintendo 64
But...
I believe @hansreloaded.bsky.social was about to fill us in on those details
Outrageous. Gamers can totally piss in bottles. Some even drink it too. #GFuel
Quick, start your Mario 64 speed runs now and don't forget to position your N64 near an open window so the cosmic rays can get in

Exactly. The correct reason to be mad at TimothΓ©e is for abandoning his Xbox 360 controller modding YouTube channel to chase infamy in Hollywood. He'd already made it to the top of our culture with that Red Tiger 360 controller paint job but it's never enough for some people youtu.be/aqYAcrSOuaQ?...
Nice, have been waiting for this! Did this make an RC yet? Or have you compiled it?
I will only accept the first CIO. Everyone that followed them is derivative.
great work
