I’m struggling across the board right now and being terrified combined with my support system being fairly limited outside of my wonderful spouse and closest family (chosen and not) - my brain constantly is like sludge.

I’m so busy, but I’ll always try to schedule something. I miss and love ya’ll.

Regarding my last thread - since I’ve moved to Ohio, the frequency in which I spend time with friends went from infrequent to almost non-existent. It’s always desired to be frequent.

I’ll do my best to keep my mood up, focus ahead. However - if you’ve ever wanted to just chat, I could use it.

I know being openly desperate isn’t typically a good look, but I don’t know what else to do. Being ultra professional hasn’t gotten me anywhere and frankly has never been my style.

If you ever wanted to give someone a hand, take a risk on someone or even just need an assistant - I’m here.

I’m not set on doing any specific thing in the future. I know what stuff I’m passionate about, and I’m happy to talk about it. I have goals. I’m entirely self taught and I’m willing to put in the work - or get the education if supported.

Please, anything helps. I’m desperate and terrified.

I love the games industry but I’m not attached to staying. The last three jobs I have had ended due to the industries instability - a studio closure, and then two mass layoffs that went largely unsupported and unnoticed by the industry due to being mobile slot like games.

I’ve specialized in trust and safety, support, account management and community moderation. I have a deep understanding of trauma informed, empathetic communication. I know a variety of softwares including but not limited to Zendesk and Google Workspace. I can learn new software quickly.

I’ve worked in games, mostly in social, for profit mobile games, since 2017. Prior to that, I did about a year of medical administrative work.

I need a job. Every attempt is falling through. Referrals aren’t cutting it. No feedback is ever given, but I’m happy to change or learn anything.

My hours are flexible, pay is flexible. I just need to bring home /something./

I appreciate everyone and wish everyone else on the hunt the best of luck. This is the most demoralizing process anymore, and it helps to know we're not alone in this.

If you know of a position, of a recruiter, of genuinely anything that would let me work remotely or at least something around New Albany, Ohio - for almost any pay range, please shout, send me their way, or send them to me. I won't make anyone regret it. Any shares help, as well.

I’m almost out of unemployment. I’m putting my family at risk of houselessness as a result. I don’t have much in the way of retail experience and min wage jobs don’t want to hire me since they don’t think I’ll stay. I’m absolutely desperate. I’m drowning in it all, in debt. I’ll take anything.

I can also say this: I NEED a job. I have rent to pay, a family to take care of, and cats to spoil. Even if I didn't love working, I would put my absolute everything into it if it meant having myself more stable. Or even stable for the first time since I started my career at all.

I know content moderation like I know how to breathe. I can handle customer support easily, and treat people like I would treat my own family. Hell, I’ll be your personal assistant. I love making a difference and getting to know people. I'll put everything into what I do.

Here's what I can promise - I am a hard worker. If I don't know something, I'll learn it. I'll communicate if I'm struggling and adapt without complaint when given feedback. I'm self-taught and damn good at it. I don’t mind - and often prefer doing the work that no one else will.

I've had interviews tell me I am under-qualified & overqualified for the positions, many tell me that I am perfect for the role, but that they just went for someone else, to a multi-month-long process where I GOT the job, only for them to pull out before sending the contract.

I am searching for another job and have been for about six or seven months now! I've sent out more applications than I can count for absolutely anything I qualify for, and I have had only a few bites. Truly any position AT ALL.
