The day after the election I booked two appointments. One for a new body piercing the next day, and one for a tattoo at the end of April.
This was a positive act of self care and thinking about said tattoo has helped a lot when the doom gets to be too much.

I have been trying to see my own self care as a way to fight fascism. If the goal of the opposition is to ware me down than it’s up to me to take care of my stupid flesh prison.

I just added “pick up dry cleaning” on my to-do list for Thursday which might be the most 30 year old thing I have done thus far.
