Players could ask for almost anything in the world from the Hivemind, Unum, and it will happily provide! But contact with Unum will test their resolve! Players who fail their tests of Resolve may give in to Unification and live in perfect harmony with all mankind! How awful!
Players also had a hobby, and it was just so special! Hobbies effect your abilities and should give you a bit of a jumping off point for role playing. HIVEMIND offers 12 fun suggestions, but you could create your own.
Somewhat! Or, rather, that's up to each group. The alien Overlords could be a big part of the game, or they could almost not exist. The timeline of the game begins in the present year(PY)+1. Players have until PY+7 before the Overlords arrive to harvest earths resources.
Player characters had a job before the rest of humanity was Unified into one consciousness, but it wasn't very fulfilling. Their skills are not the best suited to be a savior of humanity.
HIVEMIND is designed using public domain images and is Mork Borg compatible. Characters must defeat/save the Hivemind known as Unum using their Strength, Resolve, Intelligence, and Creativity.

I also like where the texture of the fur or whiskers overlaps the background. Brindle or golden colors are more difficult than black and white, the extra tonal layers can be a challenge. The first of these illustrations I did was Juno, my own boston terrier. So Penny was impossible to resist.
When I pick the photo to work from, I'm looking for a close up shot of the dog's face, looking at the camera, that can be cropped to little more than just the head, preferably with a funny look on their face (A tennis ball is also nice).
