hahah. My original plan was to have headphones on her but it was just a prototype and I didn't want to spend long on it. Other things I'd have liked to have are pavement moving under her feet on New Game and eye movements on Video Settings. She does have a blink timer but it wasn't shown in the vid.

The Australian nanny state bullshit just dropped and Bluesky's age verification service just shows 'Sorry, something went wrong' with the webcam method. I will delete my account before uploading personal documents. This is so frustrating.

To be honest I don't think you're doing anything wrong. I remember nitrox nova having issues with blendshape memory usage and spent ages trying to mitigate it. She has a YouTube channel converting MakeHuman for Godot.

Ah, gotcha. Those numbers do seem fairly concerning. Have you checked for an issue in the git repo? If there isn't one make one and post your findings along with an MRP. It helps them a lot when they have something to replicate.

Make an issue for it asking for an improved explanation and showing that the current one is insufficient. Have a feeling an easy issue like this will get sorted fairly quickly.

First impressions: movement looks really slow. I'd be pressing every controller button looking for the run button. Graphics, theme, SFX, level design and music are all looking pretty great here. Game def has potential

I updated my free Godot addons to 4.5!

This is good if you've updated to Godot 4.5. But if you're staying on 4.4, I'd advise against pulling the new versions of the addons, because they may no longer work properly on 4.4.

Laws offer (ideally) clean lines. Morality does not. I don't want the content im allowed to see be dictated by the biggest snowflake that happens to complain about it.

I also disagree with this argument. Platform providers should absolutely remain neutral and are justified in doing so.

Try using that same argument with cloudflare. It's been tested in court countless times and doesn't hold up.

Its a terrible take and you shouldnt be so easily persuaded by random people on the internet.

The NPC is user generated content not endorsed by the sponsor company. If we take ops argument to its logical conclusion, we shouldnt be using or promoting godot as people make terrible stuff with it too
