Wick Seed is definitely a bit of an outlier yeah. It might be a bit of a stretch to call it a PE-like, but i'm definitely stretching. I don't think there's much Dino Crisis dna it regardless. There are other games with actual dinos in them: store.steampowered.com/app/3407680/...

Ather Singularity looks a bit on the jank side. Wicked Seed looks like RE4 with RPG mechanics and hard to tell if it's good without playing it. Cold and Afraid recently posted combat footage that literally looks like a parasite eve romhack, down to the animations and ui. It's all created by hand tho

I think Parabellum is the only one i'm truly looking forward to tbh. It seems like the highest quality one while maintaining its own style. Parasite mutant is a bit too on the nose with the main character looking exactly like Aya and the mechanics largely being copied.

Learning about some new Grandia 1 tech has me wanting to play the game again. It turns out that Justin acts as a speed anchor much like Cecil does in FF4. You can apply this by purposely tanking Justin's ACT and Wit as low as possible to speed up other party members and stunlock enemies.

That's good! From what I remember it was related to there being no native PS5 version, so new PSN updates or different hardware versions may have inadvertently fixed it. It also wasn't unplayable or anything, just felt sluggish to me and would rather dig out the PS4 to play it there instead.

When i tried playing this on PS5 I had issues with input lag to that point that it felt so bad to play that i had to put it down lol. I hope you have better luck with it.
