As a former nonprofit CEO, what I especially appreciate about her giving is that she is out a substantial amount with each gift so the agency can do some significant work and support infrastructure.
I especially loved when Santa Clara Valley Open Space had the “curious longhorned corriente” cattle. Scared the #* out of the city folk. They had to remove them. 😂

Nice to see that the otters have returned to Phoenix Lake. Fifty years ago I remember a solo trip to Bear Lake in Emigrant and sitting on the shore for an hour watching two otters playing.

It was getting late in Greenland's Scoresby Sound. Our captain decided to spend the night, anchorless! Floating in the middle of a calm sea, surrounded by uncountably many icebergs, framed by giant mountains. A day we'll never forget!

Didn’t realize they were the largest! Always wondered why in other areas they seemed so small. Black Trumpets are everywhere now, too.
