Just popped over to sky cricket and discovered they've got live coverage of the 💯 auction.
Bit disappointed each player isn't being led round a sand ring with a paper lot number pasted on their arse, tbh.
Player auctions manage to combine all the mind-numbing tedium of transfer windows and drafts, with an extra layer of antediluvian ick factor that only seems amplified when applied to women's sports. (IMO)

But there is absolutely no inclination from those in power to create a more balanced schedule, to give an inch of leverage, or redistribute any wealth.
To pick up a conversation on commentary, only those at the very top think there's "too much" women's cricket.
e.g. West Indies' entire women's regional schedule for 2026 amounted to 9 games per side, played over the course of 2 weeks.
