first time i watched one of these and didn't get megahype over something. At least Dreamlight Valley is finally getting a Switch2 version, their Switch version has been a bastard cousin since launch.

Thank you for this. Some of the pieces coming out in the immediate aftermath of TrustCon were maddening and so disappointing. This piece was much more balanced and reflected what TrustCon was this year.

1) "Toxic platforms" are often where their communities are
2) the threats aren't just on the "toxic platforms." They're in real life, outside their homes. They're from the executives, threatening their jobs. They're from the smaller, even more toxic platforms people don't talk about.

IDK where you've been outside of AI... but there are folks talking. They're not hitting the big media... but they're talking. And there were even panels about it at TrustCon. Some good points in this piece... but some real big misses too.

Not to mention watching what happened to him had a chilling effect on others speaking out.

Glad to know he appreciates all the holidays I gave up cleaning up his stuff. The nights I spent cleaning up messes I didn't cause. The nervous breakdown I almost gave myself at the end of my tenure. Guess that wasn't enough.
