It's like a recursive loop of stupidity: Johnson's own propaganda outlets invented the threat of sharia law, and excited a bunch of people who have no idea about anything, which he's using to say there's a groundswell of popular sentiment.

It is true that there is a lot of popular sentiment about this, but it is insane and made up.

Yes, Denver got more snow than expected yesterday. But:

1) Most important: it was a low-impact 'miss'. The snow (as expected) was entirely on colder surfaces. It didn't shut down traffic.

2) Saying Denver is going to get 14" of snow 8 days out is still reckless. That doesn't change.

ANALYSIS: Even with Trump in office, election rigging conspiracy theorists have struggled to score wins or produce any evidence.

Colorado Gov Jared Polis' seemingly imminent clemency for Tina Peters would be a massive victory for those urging Trump to seize control of elections.

All else aside, it’s hard to describe how disingenuous this comparison is. SJL faked letters of support to duck a state legislative ethics probe. Peters participated in a plot to undermine Colorado’s elections and has spent her brief time in prison getting in fights and earning write-ups.

I've never worked at DOJ, but this is basically what I understood to be true, from a knowledgeable source.
