... and the AI has completely forgotten everything you've done up to that point, because it is a new context and you can't fill it with what its already done, without filling the context.

You're stuck... the AI can't help you any further without devolving into absolute retard mode.

And if you're trying to write a larger program... that fills its context...

AI can no longer help you write your program without inbreeding its own responses.

That's why it seems to get dumber and dumber the more you use it.

Your program and your chat has filled its maximum context...

AI can be a decent auto-complete for boilerplate and small functions... and it can do a decent job of finding bugs that people can miss like { } or errors in math formulas.

But, what people don't realize.. as you reach 70% of an AI's context, it starts summarizing and inbreeding its own responses.

Every single vibe coder I've ever talked to, "Why does ChatGPT keep rewriting my code and making different mistakes every time?"

Because... it is a guessing machine, and it likes to keep you guessing? I guess.

People forget what the best thing about Twittier actually is...

The mistake is thinking that small platforms are exempt from what large platforms are required to do.

With the UK, US, Canada, etc all putting these requirements for companies into law... are you, as a small platform, willing to risk losing safe harbour and hundreds of thousands in fines?

This is the kind of thing that only happens when artists design tools. ;)

Because sure it enough, it was just sitting in the task manager taking up resources while not actually doing shit.

I think people are cooked in the brain by what they consider "good" alternatives.

Use DaVinci Resolve as "alternative" to Premiere Pro they said... its just as good they said.

So far... installer hangs, loading hangs... lol.

Yeah, "good"... they say. Good for what? Wasting my time, lol.

I'm slowly starting to retire all of my software licenses. Sad days, sad days.

But, also I just got a glimpse of what next gen 3D AI can do... even with topology... and I'm like, "Welp, more of my skill set relegated to upcoming automation."

We are all cooked now.

Welcome to the circle of life.

The people who use these reasons only care because they are now the ones being exploited.

People happy to hum on their computers and tablets and "we gotta get by in society" while exploiting people and destroying the planet elsewhere.

But no, not themselves... they shouldn't be exploited! Oh my!

There's legitimate reasons to hate AI.

But if you use one of these:

1. It exploits people.
2. It destroys the planet.

So does our entire tech industry. Built on slave labor, environment destruction. If you draw the line because it affects you now... you really didn't care in the first place.

Some people like the journey, and that's valid.

I never did.

I just wanted to get from A to B as fast as I could, but it still wasn't as fast as I needed, it seems. I thought collecting skill points would be the short cut. It wasn't, lol.

Ah well, reflections are just that.

Yup, that's where I am currently sitting as well.

Aimlessly creating things because the things I actually want to do, I no longer have time for.

If I could go back in time and have a skill skip button, I would 100% press it.

That's the thing about time.

It catches up to you faster than you will realize... and sometimes, it comes with allies like sickness, disability, etc.

People don't realise they are out of it until they see the finish line coming.

My dream game will never see the light of day because I ran out of time.

Time is our greatest limitation.
