The theme of this Refugee Week is 'Community as a super power' and Yousef really embraces that. As an active member of his church and at a refugee centre where he is able to use his extraordinary skills as a polyglot.

Yousef is a refugee from Syria.
Now safely housed and supported by LATCH he is able to practice his faith and give back, helping other refugees.

We provide support alongside accommodation in homes in Harehills, Chapeltown and the surrounding areas of Leeds.

🌷 The sun is shining in Leeds and it feels like spring is upon us and so is 'moving season'! There have been a flurry of tenants ready to move on and just as many new move ins. So there are a lot of new beginnings happening but it feels very seasonally appropriate!

Sometimes it has to get worse before it can get better ... and we need to remember that when looking at how the bathroom at this renovation is "progressing" half a wall out but a 24 year old toilet roll still hanging out un bothered on the window sill ...
