Ah, is that Waterton Lakes NP? We considered going there on our roadtrip during which I took this photo, but it was too far off our route.
Depending on your idea of „right above“, maybe yes. It’s a 700km drive from Glacier NP.

I assume you are aware, but just in case: make sure Tioga Road is open before making plans to go. It’s closed due to snow for quite a long time each year.
This was long ago (2014) but I checked where I stayed the night before: it was Yosemite Westgate Lodge, about a 1h:30mins drive away. This photo was taken at 7am in the morning, so I must have started fairly early.
